Mehleb reviews plan to develop Port Said

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb held on Saturday evening a meeting to review plans to develop Port Said governorate in the trade, industrial and tourism fields.
 
The meeting was attended by the trade, industry and finance ministers and Port Said governor, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam el Qawish said.
 
During the meeting, Mehleb said the government is doing its best to develop Port Said and turn it into an international trade hub that will provide more job opportunities for youths.
 
He issued directives to the governor to present a development plan that aims to turn the coastal city into an international trade, industry and services center.
 
He also ordered a 25% reduction over fees imposed on imported goods in the city.
 
During the meeting, the premier also issued directives to allocate 200 million pounds from the budget of 2015-2016 fiscal year to development projects in Port Said.
