Governor of Minya Emad Kadwani affirmed on Saturday that alternative housing projects are being implemented in line with the directives of the political leadership to eliminate shelter areas and provide modern housing units with integrated services.
The governor came during the visit of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to Minya Governorate, during which he handed over contracts to beneficiaries of the first phase of the alternative housing apartment project in the Al-Salakhana area, South Minya district.
The Governor of Minya stressed that the project falls within the framework of the “Decent Housing” initiative and the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building the Human Being” and comes as part of the governorate’s plan to develop unplanned areas and provide civilized housing for families most in need.
