Mostafa Mohamed says he is proud of winning Best Goal Award in the French League

Egyptian international player Mostafa Mohamed, the striker of the French club Nantes, said that he is proud to win the best goal award in the French League for September, earned after a fierce competition with Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, the right-back of the French team Paris Saint-Germain.

The official social media accounts of the French League shared a video clip of Mohamed’s goal, which he scored against Lorient, announcing that he won the title of best goal of September.

Mohamed outperformed Hakimi, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, after the goal he scored against Marseille in the French League.

He had previously won the Best Player award in Nantes for September following his stellar performance with the French team.

How did Mohamed perform?

Mohamed scored two goals during September.

His first goal came in the Marseille match in the fourth round of the French League competition. His second goal came in the Lorient match in the fifth round.

He ranks second in the French League’s top scorers’ table with five goals, two goals behind Kylian Mbappé, the Paris Saint-Germain star, ranks first place in the standings.

Mohamed joined Nantes on loan from Galatasaray in Turkey last season, and Nantes officials decided to buy the Egyptian striker at the end of the season.
