Mubarak will return to Tora Prison hospital, sources claim

Anonymous officials said Tuesday that the committee examining ex-President Hosni Mubarak’s health would convene the next day to prepare its final medical report. The document would then be handed over to the Public Prosecution.

The initial medical report shows that Mubarak has recovered from a fractured rib that happened during his imprisonment in Tora Prison, with the sources claiming the committee would likely recommend Mubarak return to the prison's hospital

The same sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm that Mubarak was in good health and looked much the same as he had during a televised court session Saturday.

Mubarak had asked committee head Dr. Magda Helal al-Qaradawy to remain at the military hospital in Maadi, where he is being treated, to which she responded, "We will do whatever your health condition requires."

Qaradawy was in charge of another committee that recommended Mubarak's transfer from Tora prison to a medical facility due to ill health.
