Murals for Nasser, Sadat, Sisi in metro stations

Preparing for the New Suez Canal celebration on Thursday, the management of the metro has erected murals of Presidents Nasser, Sadat and Sisi in the stations, arguing that Mubarak was excluded because he did not play a role in the history of the Suez Canal.

Nasser nationalized the canal in 1956, Sadat reopened it in 1975 and Sisi has drilled the new canal.

The Transport Ministry has also printed a logo of the new canal on the trains.
