Muslim Brotherhood dismisses five members for joining Egyptian Current Party

Five members of the Muslim Brotherhood group said on Monday that they have been dismissed from the group for joining the Egyptian Current Party.

“We were dismissed without anybody questioning us,” said Islam Lotfy, requesting that the group reconsider its decision.

Meanwhile, Abdel Rahman Fares, a spokesperson for the Egyptian Current Party,  praised the five members. “They are fine young men who seek reform for the country,” he said.
