PM chairs meeting with private sector

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired on Wednesday 6/12/2023 a meeting of the Supreme Committee for cooperation with the private sector.

The meeting began in noting the great importance of the committee participation in drawing up work plans and policies and various projects in different sectors in partnership with the private sector.

The Egyptian government aims to open broad horizons for the private sector to enhance contributions to the unprecedented development projects.

During the meeting, a number of proposed projects were reviewed, including one to design, finance, construct, maintain, and return ownership of the Investor Services Center at the Shaq Al-Tha’ban area in Cairo, using Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT).

Two proposed projects for two electrical transformer stations for the benefit of the New Urban Communities Authority were also reviewed, one of them is the implementation of a Tora cement station.

The Supreme Committee also discussed a number of international technical school projects through a partnership system with the private sector.
