The government is keen on raising the wages of workers of privatized companies, and on providing health care for them, Trade and Industry Minister Rachid Mohamed Rachid said on Monday.
The minister also said the government is supporting the food industry, and is encouraging companies to use local agricultural products for production so as to reduce reliance on imports.
He added that the Ministry of Agriculture is studying ways of making use of cotton seeds in the production of cooking oil.
