Trial of MB leaders over blocking road adjourned to 19 March

Banha Criminal Court adjourned Thursday the trial of 48 Muslim Brotherhood leaders and members to 19 March over charges of blocking the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road, possessing arms, joining terrorist group, damaging public property and assaulting police officers in July 2013 following the ouster of President Mohamed Morsy.
The trial was postponed as the defendents were not brought to court. The hearing had been postponed last time to 11 March to listen to witnesses.
Thirty-eight defendants are imprisoned, including Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, Mohamed al-Beltagy, Safwat Hegazy, former Minister of Supply Bassem Ouda and former Minister of Youth Osama Yassin.
