The US dollar to Egyptian pound exchange rate on Thursday witnessed stability for both purchase and selling prices, recording LE15.67 for purchase and LE15.77 for selling at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The exchange rate from dollars to Egyptian pounds was on a decline until January 11, recording 8.5 piasters, and increased by 7.8 piasters on January 20.
The value of pound to the Dollar increased overall by two percent in 2020.
Egypt’s foreign reserves increased by US$842 million in December 2020, totaling US$40,062 billion, compared to US$39,221 in November 2020.
Dollar exchange rates at the National Bank of Egypt, and Bank Misr recorded LE15.66 for purchase and LE15.76 for selling.
Dollar exchange rates at the Commercial International Bank recorded LE15.68 for purchase and LE15.78 for selling.
Dollar exchange rates at the Audi Bank recorded LE15.62 for purchase and LE15.72 for selling.
Dollar exchange rates at the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank recorded LE15.65 for purchase and LE15.75 for selling.
