
The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) announced on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, that the 214th convoy of the “Zad Al Ezza – From Egypt to Gaza” initiative headed to Gaza Strip, carrying tons of humanitarian assistance, including food parcels, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel needed to operate hospitals and other vital facilities across the strip.
The organization also expanded its support for Gaza residents by providing essential supplies, including clothing and tents for those affected by the crisis.
The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a presence at the border since the beginning of the conflict, emphasizing that Rafah border crossing has never been closed from the Egyptian side.
The organization has remained on high alert across its logistics centers and has continued its efforts to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian and relief aid, which has exceeded one million tons, with the support of more than 65,000 volunteers.
