Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil announced that Cairo International Stadium will host a major celebration on Monday evening to honor the national football team’s historic achievement at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The event is being organized by Sports United.
The Minister said the ceremony follows Reception by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who honored the national team delegation in New Alamein City in recognition of its outstanding World Cup campaign.
He described the presidential reception as a tribute to the team’s remarkable achievement, saying the tournament would remain one of the most memorable chapters in the history of Egyptian football.
Nabil added that Monday’s celebration will include an official tribute to the players and coaching staff, along with a range of entertainment performances.
He said the event would provide Egyptian football fans with an opportunity to celebrate the team’s unprecedented accomplishment.
