Defense min attends main phase of live-fire project in Central Military Zone

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki attended on Wednesday the main phase of a tactical live-fire project conducted by units from the Central Military Zone, with the participation of conscripts.

The military event, held as part of the Armed Forces’ combat training plan, was attended by Chief of Staff Lt. General Osama Askar and high-ranking officers.

In his remarks for the event, Commander of the Central Military Zone Staff Maj. Gen. Tarek Hamed al-Shazly highlighted the combat preparedness of the servicemen and their readiness to carry out any military tasks to defend the homeland and its stability.

Zaki discussed with a number of commanders and officers means of implementing tasks and taking the right decisions in managing military operations.
