Egypt, Armenia mull ways to cement bilateral coop.

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa met Thursday 16/5/2024 the Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee of Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry Artyom Mehrabyan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to boost bilateral co-operation in various fields.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Armenia in Cairo Hrachya Poladyan.

The minister lauded strong and historical ties between Egypt and Armenia under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Armenian counterpart Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Minister Moustafa highlighted the Military Production Ministry’s capabilities on military industrialisation to meet the needs of the Armed Forces and Police, in addition to manufacturing products and partaking in carrying out national development projects across the country.

For his part, Mehrabyan hailed good ties binding the two countries, voicing Armenia’s keenness to foster co-operation with Egypt, particularly with the Military Production Ministry-affiliated companies.

The Military-Industrial Committee is a body subordinated to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, which acts based on the Constitution, laws, other legal acts and its statutes to create and develop a competitive domestic military industry.
