All production lines of Ateco Pharma factory should take into consideration all standards of rationalizing energy and water, said Minister of Environment Yasmin Fouad on Monday.
During an inspection tour of the factory as part of the environment investment week, which coincides with the World Environment Day, the minister also called for sorting all kinds of wastes and agreeing with specialized companies to collect and recycle them. She added that Ateco Pharma is an environment-friendly factory.
The Suez Canal Economic Zone said in a statement that Minister Fouad met with SCZONE chairman Walid Gamal Eddin and reviewed with him measures adopted by the factory to use clean energy, recycle wastes and reuse them.
SCZONE said the factory uses natural gas as clean fuel instead of diesel to preserve environment.
