Former Endowments Minister al-Ahmady Aboul Nour has praised the role the army is playing in Egypt, part of a speech he delivered Tuesday morning during Eid prayers.
Aboul Nour said the military was conducting a "historic and honourable role.
The former minister said Eid al-Adha is an important symbol of sacrifice and redemption in Islam, adding that the army is sacrificing itself for the good of the country.
