Mwasalat Misr, Super Jet to manage new capital’s smart transportation system

A final agreement between Mwasalat Misr, the brand owner of the first smart bus in Egypt, and Super Jet to manage the New Administrative Capital’s smart transportation system will soon be signed, the Administrative Capital For Urban Development (ACUD) announced.

Negotiations are underway between the parties to determine shares in the management company as well as its capital, Major General Ahmed Zaky Abdeen, Chairman of the ACUD, said.

In March, the ACUD signed a memorandum of understanding to establish an Egyptian joint stock company by contracting with Super Jet and Mwasalat Misr to provide smart internal transportation services for the city’s first phase.

The ACUD explained that Super Jet and Mwasalat Misr have extensive experience in the field of providing smart urban mass transportation services and bring qualified experts to plan, implement, follow up, and manage mega projects.

The ACUD stressed its keenness to provide  top-level transportation at the new capital using the latest buses that run with electricity and gas.

The company said that it will allocate LE450 million initially for investments in smart transportation, including the provision of buses, bus stations, garages, and smart management systems.
