Protesters in Tahrir Square allowed people into the Mugamma Wednesday morning after blocking the government building's entrances earlier this week.
Eyewitnesses said dozens of employees and citizens have flocked to the complex since it reopened.
Tahrir protesters are amassing in the square for the fifth consecutive day, demanding speedy trials for those involved in corruption cases and accused of killing protesters during the revolution that began in January.
A large number of protesters flocked to the square Tuesday evening, responding to calls from 33 political groups for a million-man march at 5 pm.
Popular committees – the self-appointed security guards of the square – organized protesters at the entrances.
Protesters reportedly detained two people on Talaat Harb Street for assaulting and injuring some of them.
