SCEZONE inks usufruct contract with Turkish company worth $40 mln

The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCEZONE) announced on Tuesday inking a land usufruct contract of 65,000-square-meter area with the Turkish company of Eroglu Egypt for ready-made clothes at investments worth $40 million .
The contract was inked by Head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Walid Gamal Eldin and Chairman of the company Ömmet Eroğlu.
In a statement, the SCEZONE said that the inking comes within the framework of boosting cooperation with Turkey in the targeted industrial sectors especially the field of textile and ready-made clothes.
Gamal Eldin said that this is the 6th inked contract out of 15 projects studied to be implemented in West Qantara Zone that was developed for different industrial activities especially ready-made clothes and textiles.
The SCEZONE succeeded in attracting 144 different projects with total investments of $3.226 billion.
Meanwhile, Eroğlu expressed happiness over cooperating with the SCEZONE, adding that the factory will provide 3000 job opportunities.
